Yes, it arrives smelling badly, off gassing, however, two days outside took care of it leaving me with the very best yoga mat I’ve ever owned. The material is wonderfully firm, unlike mats in the same price range. Been there, done that! The length is great. Stays in place on our wood floor. This mat has re-invigorated our At Home mat Pilates, yoga and meditation practice.
Our gym uses manduka mats—they are gold standard and well out of our price range, this mat is pretty darn close in quality for a faction of the price.

Love this mat! I use this at home for “off days” from the gym, for mat exercises, and/or stretching. It has sufficient padding to not hurt the knees or back and to feel comfortable doing exercises. It rolls out nicely and didn’t quickly roll back after being unrolled – like some of the other ones I’ve had.
